The Vision and The Approach Behind Market|Write

BIO

Author

As a life-long entrepreneur herself, Stacey Ruth has been involved in building and marketing successful organizations for two decades. In 2000, she was named one of Atlanta’s top 50 Entrepreneurs by Catalyst Magazine, and most recently, her former agency, The WOW Factory, was twice named one of the Top 100 Event Marketing IT Agencies by Event Marketer Magazine.

While her writing career has primarily been focused on developing content and campaigns for others, Stacey has contributed to several national and local publications including Meeting Professionals International’s One+, Events Solutions and The Atlanta Business Chronicle. Currently, she is writing her first book, Market Right: The Small to Mid-Size Business Marketing Makeover Guide, set for release in 2012.

In 2006, Stacey became a certified ROI professional. This designation provides her with the ability to help her clients create and deliver marketing that produce results with measurable value to the organization.

If there is one thing I hope you will understand about me, it is that I have a passion for finding the right words – the words that reflect precisely your message, your voice, and your brand.

I understand how business gets done, because I owned my own agency for 14 years. Today I am focused solely on helping other businesses thrive with clear marketing communication and strategy.

The Approach

The Market|Write process is a conversation.

Listen first. Ask lots of questions. Do your homework. Then, and only then, decide what to say. That’s how it begins.

Since there is never just one right answer to any problem, Market|Write gives you options, and advises on the benefits of each approach, with timliness and proactivity at every step.

Market|Write does not deliver surprises. It delivers results, with consideration of your objectives, your budget and your deadlines.

Marketing Words to Avoid In 2012

Posted on January 16th, 2012 in Content, Creative Direction, Marketing, Writing with 2 Comments

2012Wordscrop

Make 2012 the year you resolve to ditch any lingering words you might have over-used in 2011. Words that once were trendy for their freshness are now stale and worn out. It’s time to pick a fresh crop of words that truly do define organizations’ uniqueness. Solution: Solution is a solid word. Too bad it [...]

The Cost of Creative: How Much Should You Pay?

CostofCreative

As Joey Rieman’s book, “Thinking for a Living” asserts, when you hire a writer, designer, or other creative professional, you aren’t just paying for their time to execute a deliverable, you are paying for their creativity, expertise and insight.  As a result, the cost for these services varies widely and can be extremely difficult to [...]

Why Do I Care?

DontCare

You have to tell me why I care about you. It seems obvious, but apparently it isn’t. Far too many companies spend all their time on this feature and the other — very proud of their innovation, service, and attention to detail. However, they forget to connect the dots for the customer — drawing a [...]
